/ YOUNG PERFORMERS THEATRE GROUP

Young performers theatre group was set up in response to a request by local young people aged 13 to 25, to provide free weekly sessions and the opportunity to work with professional artists and stage a number of performances.

The group is run by Lucy Enskat, professional actress and Artistic Director of Hocus Pocus Theatre Company.  The theatre group will focus on creating comic characters, improvisation, street theatre, clowning, comedy sketches and cabaret.  The group will work toward a performance piece this Christmas and a street theatre show as part of the Out There International festival of Street Arts in 2011.
