/ OUT THERE FESTIVAL 2011
St George's Park and Great Yarmouth seafront and market place staged the Out There 2011 Festival and welcomed around 60,000 people to enjoy artists and performers from across the globe.
In its 4th year, the festival continues to grow and this year saw celebrated UK circus company NoFit State 'wow' audiences with their new show, Barricade, on the seafront on Saturday evening.
Always striving to bring the finest international acts to the East of England, this year saw Ireland's Bui Bolg, Belgium's Cirq'ulation Locale and German clown, Gregor Wollny entertaining in the park.
From Brittany, Eostiged Ar Stangala blended traditional and contemporary elements in their fantastical folk dance, The Witch. We also welcomed back New Zealand's Shay Horay and mad-cap American, Mario, Queen of the Circus.

Having been to the Festival last year ans enjoying the perfomances of Shay Horay we returned this year with our entire family. What a fantastic time we had. All credit to Sea Change and everyone involved for what must have been massive efforts and lots of hard work. Shay & Mario and Trois Points de Suspension also made my Grandsons day by taking time out to pose for photographs with him, which now have pride of place as his screen saver. Absolutely fabulous day - we will be spreading the word and be back next year / Maria Williams / 23.09.2011
Another superb and inspiring festival this year. Any chance of getting Les Trois Points de Suspension back next year to do "Voyage en bordure..."? / Rik / 20.09.2011
It's great to see Out There back again. As always it attracts high quality performers to Great Yarmouth and thousands of people to the town to celebrate the very best in street performers.
Once again to we shall make the pilgrimage to immerse our selves in this celebration of all that is best in street performance and art.
Thank you Sea Change for putting it on and to all the performers who make it possible. We have needed a vision like this for years and now we have it lets keep it going. / Roland Pascoe / 16.09.2011
