Is it a bird?  Is it a plane?  No, its Out There 2012!!

 

The programme's almost in place for the fifth international festival of circus and street arts.  And this year it's bigger and better than ever!

 

We're extending the festival with more days and new venues plus we welcome back the astounding Générik Vapeur with their new show Waterlitz.

 

2012 is a big year for the UK and we celebrate Super Human endeavour and Out of this World achievement in our usual astounding way as we bring the very best of international circus and street arts to the east coast.

 

From France we bring the breathtaking Waterlitz as well as the quirky sideshow antics of L'Affaire Foraine.  And to the town's historic Hippodrome, we welcome the spectacle of the extraordinary Cie Bam.

 

From the US, comes the amazing slack rope artist Pete Sweet.  From Belgium, the Charlie Chaplin style comedy of Les P'tits Bras.

 

You'll be able to savour the latin carnival rhythms of South America in Amazonas Spectacular and enjoy students of our own circus school and those from Spain and France.

 

There'll be plenty of comedy capers from the UK too as we welcome back Stickleback Plasticus and the roller coaster-retro-one-woman-show from Abigail Collins.
